In The Hood
Sheung Wan

Go a little west of Central and you’ll stumble into Sheung Wan – a close getaway from the hustle of the CBD. This neighbourhood is full of nostalgia and a must to explore by foot. Take an afternoon to discover traces of old Hong Kong (i.e. when it was a British colony), mixed in with small boutiques, cafes and street art.

EXPLORE

If you are looking for local antiques and knickknacks, Upper & Lower Lascar Row (also called the Cat Street) is the right place for you. In this narrow street, more than 30 small iron-made stalls sell antique jade, pearls, ceramic, bronze statues, vintage furniture and even Chinese communist propaganda. If you are patient enough to hunt for the perfect souvenir to take home, there is definitely something delightfully affordable and unique.

SHOP

For all art & design lovers, the InBetween store is a must. As they say, the word ‘vintage’ doesn’t mean ‘old’, as all great designs are timeless. InBetween is a space and platform for designers and artists to inspire each other and exhibit their works.
