If you’ve walked around the streets of Hong Kong, chances are you’ve come across some pretty majestic bamboo scaffolding or structures. Up close, it may seem nothing more than just another obstacle course of the narrow streets of Hong Kong. But look at it from afar and you’re feasting your eyes on some pretty spectacular architecture.
Apart from finding bamboo hugging the buildings that line our skyline, they build opera houses, bun towers, stacks and stacks of dim sum baskets, and more. They can pop up overnight to house hundreds of people for a Chinese opera show, then disappear just as quickly leaving nothing but a few traces of black plastic bands.
